You may have seen a group of young people gardening in March town centre recently.
That is because members of the March Young Farmers were on their way to completing a national initiative β the Countryside Challenge.
The group, which has members aged 14 to 26, helped clear areas outside West End DIY and Iceland of weeds with the help of members of March Street Pride in Bloom group last Wednesday.
Around 17 members completed the challenge which was introduced last March.
A March Young Farmers spokesman said: βAll the club really enjoyed helping out the local community and we plan as a club to make this a regular event to help the March Street Pride in Bloom group.β
