A FAMILY from March is waiting to hear if it has been chosen to be filmed by GMTV for a special week on green issues.
The appropriately-named Green family, of Green Street, were contacted last week because of their name and the fact they live in Green Street.
Mother of three, Rachel Green, said she though someone was playing a joke when she listened to a message left by a GMTV researcher.
She said: "It is about how to change your lifestyle to help the environment. When I thought about it, I thought it will be a really good experience for the children."
Mrs Green along with husband, Darren, and children Luke, Samuel and Alicia, would be filmed for one week in April.
She said: "We don't eat a lot of packaged food and we recycle what we can but if what we do can be improved then it will be a good thing to take part in."
The family hope to hear soon if they will be taking party in the filming.
