Four people have been released under investigation as part of a drugs raid in Wisbech town centre flats.
Three men, aged, 26, 30 and 36 and a 30-year-old woman, all from Wisbech, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
They were taken to custody at the Police Investigation Centre in King’s Lynn yesterday (Tuesday 24) and later released under investigation.
A quantity of drugs and associated paraphernalia were discovered during the raid.
Fenland Inspector Ian Lombardo and 26 officers executed misuse of drugs warrants in three properties in a town centre alleyway.
The raids in New Bell Lane were part of Operation Cippus into the making and selling of pills, known as grenades, being sold to children as young as 11.
The operation stems from intelligence received from partner agencies and members of the public around drugs.
The orange pills are in the shape of mini-grenades which are believed to be MDMA cut with bleach, being sold to children in the community.
