A guide dogs charity has received a £500 boost to help it train its young dogs.

The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffalos (RAOB), who meet at the Braza Club in March, made the donation to Guide Dogs East Anglia.

The money has been raised throughout the year by the group, who meet on Thursday evenings.

Guide Dogs East Anglia representatives Caroline Woodward and Fiona Wright, accompanied by eight week old trainee guide dog Smithy, received the cheque from RAOB member Mark Vallance.

Formed in 1822, The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB), which is known to its members as Buffs, has grown in to one of the largest organisations in the United Kingdom.

It aids members, their families, dependents of former members and other charitable organisations.
