POLICE are investigating an incident in which a jogger had a gun pointed at him by a passenger in a passing car.
The 49-year-old man was running along Upwell Road, March, away from the town centre, when a car described as an old-style red Ford Escort saloon pulled up beside him.
The front passenger side window was wound down and a man inside pointed a gun at the victim and threatened him. The car then drove off in the direction of the town centre.
The gunman is described as a white youth with ginger hair.
The incident happened between 8pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday (August 7).
PC Andy Minns, who is investigating, said: "This was a particularly nasty incident and the victim was left shocked and shaken.

"I would urge anyone with information to contact police. I would particularly like to speak to people who would have been travelling along Upwell Road at about the time this incident happened or recognises the vehicle or the person described."
