A person had to be cut free from their vehicle after it veered off the road and landed in a Guyhirn ditch during the early hours of this morning.
The incident, which happened on October 16 at around 12:15am, was close to where four people were hospitalised two weeks ago.
Three people were seriously injured in the crash on Gull Road, Guyhirn when a car collided with a horse box van at around 6pm on Saturday, October 6.
Last night’s crash happened just yards away on Gull Drove, Guyhirn.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue said: “One crew Thorney, one crew from Stanground and the rescue vehicle from Stanground were called to a road traffic collision on Gull Drove, Guyhirn.
“Crews arrived to find a vehicle had veered off the road and ended up in a ditch. Firefighters used specialist equipment to stabilise the vehicle and release one casualty, who was left in the care of the ambulance service.
“All crews returned to their station by 1.50am.”
