GEMMA Brammer could not believe her luck when she heard her family pet dog Harry had won the Cambs Times Pet of the Year competition.
Harry, a two-year-old Lassa Apso, polled about 40 per cent of the votes and beat off competition from 85 other entries in the biggest response to a Cambs Times competition for many years.
Gemma's prize was a studio portrait of Harry, taken during a special photo-shoot by Cambs Times award-winning photographer Brian Purdy.
Gemma, 12, a student at Neale-Wade Community College, March, is pictured with Brian Purdy, her pet Harry and her prize photograph.
