FOLLOWING the cabinet's endorsement of a 3.9 per cent rise in council tax in the next financial year, the people of Fenland are being invited to comment on the draft budget for 2006/07.
The draft budget was drawn up after extensive public consultation and this month local people will be able to comment on the draft itself.
Consultation events will take place at each of the Fenland @ your services shops throughout January on the following dates:
- Monday, January 15 (2-5pm) in Whittlesey.
- Thursday, January 18 (2 - 5pm) in Chatteris.
- Friday, January 19 (2-5pm) in Wisbech.
- Monday, January 22 (2-5pm) in March.
