I DON'T see why Cambridgeshire County Council should be considering increasing the Council Tax to cover the cost of care.

In Spain if you need to go to any government office, town hall, social security, car tax office, MoT centre, you have to supply your own interpreter at your own expense.
Non-English speaking doctors do all their diagnoses in Spanish on their computer and then have the computer translate it into English. Alternatively, to avoid the need for a translate you have to learn the language.
This is normal practice throughout the EU. Our county council should follow the rest of the EU. I won't suggest a referendum as we already know what the results will be.
