THE Golden Age team will be in the Fenland @ your service shop in Chatteris next Wednesday (November 7) between 1pm and 4pm to help older people identify a wide range of services that could be useful to them.
Among services of direct benefit to older people living on a limited budget, is the Ferret, which is a computer programme that calculates benefit entitlements. The Ferret quickly shows the additional benefits a person is eligible to claim for.
Councillor Mac Cotterell and other councillors in the Golden Age Team will be on hand to help access the partners involved in supporting older people in the community, so if feel you could benefit from additional support, pop in to the Chatteris shop for a chat with the experts.
