HENSON ROAD HUM
VIA the Cambs Times, I would like to know if anyone else has experienced an annoying type hum, or drone running through their property.
VIA the Cambs Times, I would like to know if anyone else has experienced an annoying type hum, or drone running through their property.
I live in Henson Road, and since 7am (approx) on Monday July 26, I have, with my partner, experienced a very low pitched hum, not unlike a distant generator or large fan. This noise I believe travels via the ground, as it is not distinctive externally. This drone/hum runs 24/7 and once heard, it is very difficult to ignore (day is not a problem, but night is). I have actually slept with ear plugs to no avail.
The Fenland District Council Environmental Protection Officer was also contacted is trying to resolve the noise source.
I believe the noise to be generated, as a recent blanket power cut on Sunday, August 8 for three quarters of an hour. All was silent with the exception of ‘the hum’
