Staff wore everything from pyjamas to classic 1940s attire as a care home went all out to raise £150 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Hickathrift House care home in Marshland St James held an array of fundraising events throughout the week to raise awareness of Dementia Awareness Week.

Each day staff dressed up for a different theme, which ranged from a pyjama day to a 1940/1950s day.

The week ended with a balloon launch, staff three legged mile and raffle.

General Manager Susan Scarlett said: “As a whole team we enjoy celebrating life with the people who live at Hickathrift House.

“During Dementia Awareness Week, we have had the opportunity to highlight the needs of those individuals living with dementia and can raise money towards the exceptional work dementia charities achieve.”
