THE Hilgay Silver Band performed a memorable concert at Leverington Church - raising about 500 for major roof repairs.
Visitors filled the church for the evening of music on Saturday, feasting on mulled wine and mince pies before taking home a Christmas treat from the festive raffle.
The church was full to capacity again on Sunday, as children dressed as angels and shepherds took part in the Christingle service. Brownies attended in their uniforms and a collection for the Children’s Society was taken.
