FENLAND looks set to hold an annual holiday roadshow after around 100 people visited the first event in Wisbech.
Anglia Co-operative Travel branches at Wisbech, March and King’s Lynn joined together to stage the debut event at the Elme Hall Hotel.
The four-hour event offered visitors the chance to take advantage of special discounts offered by the variety of tour operators who were present. There was also a free-to-enter prize draw.
Kelly Hunt, manager of the Anglia Co-operative Travel branch in the Beales department store at Wisbech, and Natasha Thatcher, manager of the travel branch in March’s Broad Street, were delighted with the successful roadshow.
They said: “We are so pleased with how successful the event was we are now busy planning our show for 2012 and we’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended.”
