Holiday With Us is calling for donations of food, toys and toiletries to fill its charity Christmas hampers.

This year’s hampers will be donated to Agape and Salvation Army to “bless those that we support throughout the year in the local community” said Ellie Cuthbert, marketing and admin assistant at Holiday With Us.

The hampers will be packed with items a family needs for Christmas. These include any type of Christmas goodies, food, toys and toiletries. Treats including Christmas puddings, Christmas cakes, mince pies, chocolates and juice are also included.

Collection points are located within the branches of Holiday With Us in Wisbech and March and Spalding Travel in Spalding.

Ellie added: “Many in our community rely on the food bank on a weekly basis for essential food items. In order to provide additional support, we provide Christmas hampers to local charities that support those in the community who are in desperate need at Christmas time.

“We require any food items to be in date, packed, dried, jarred or tinned. We will not accept fresh foods.

“Toiletries and toys must be new and not used or opened.”
