THE latest meeting was chaired by Maureen Wayman, who welcomed the 45 members. Speaker was Brian Jones whose subject was 'Traditions, Celebrations and Superstitions'.

Refreshments were served while the competition, for a black cat made of any material was judged. Winners were Jane Bedford, Mary Rees and Margaret Bishop.

At the next meeting, on Wednesday May 30, in the Trinity Rooms (7.30pm), entertainment will be provided by belly dancers Egyptian Dream.
