The A141 March by-pass welcomed some unexpected visitors this morning, as a stable of horses wanderd onto the road.

Officers were called to Knights End Road this morning to find the horses wandering in the road.

Police helped the owner to get the horses back to the field.

Fenland Police tweeted: “Let’s stop horsing around now, you can’t run along the #A141

“I think the horse got the message #detained”
