A Smurfit Kappa lorry ended up in a drainage pond between Sunday evening and Monday morning.
The shunting lorry has since been recovered.
Smurfitt Kappa a company which has one of its bases in March, is one of the leading providers of paper-based packaging solutions in the world.
It has around 43,000 employees in approximately 350 production sites across 33 countries.
The company’s March site is located at Hostmoor Avenue, near Tesco.
It is not known what caused the incident at this time.
A police spokesman said: “We are called at 7.9am today to an HGV that had left the road and ended up in a ditch.”
One lane of the road was closed for the lorry to be recovery. The spokesman said highways engineers took over.
“There was no mention of other vehicles involved,” he said.
Smurfit Kappa said they were unable to comment.
