THE college garden at Neale-Wade Community College, March, is now in its third successful year but in a completely new location.
The BSF work meant that the old garden had to be re-located but the staff and students couldn’t be happier.
“The new garden is in a lovely quiet spot and we’ve been able to build raised beds where the veggies grow much better” said Janice Holdich.
To celebrate the move students invited guests to attend their opening event where Principal Mr Tim Hitch and Mr Tom Jefford, Head of Youth Support Services, officially cut the garden gate ribbon.
Guests included Greenvale potatoes, Delfland nurseries, parents and college governors.
