THE countdown to the 2012 Olympics continued with hundreds attending free Cultural Olympiad events organised by Fenland Arts.
Visitors took part in a variety of activities during the special occasion which was funded by Cambridgeshire County Council and Fenland District Council.
Dunhams Wood near March, Woodhouse Farm Park in Friday Bridge and Skylark Garden Centre in Wimblington hosted a day each with all offering a wide range of things to do.
More than 300 people attended Dunhams Wood for wood walks, craft, story telling, Maypole dancing and the chance to have a go at SNAG golf.
Woodhouse Farm Park had the added appeal of farm animals, while many children contributed to a mural before enjoying cakes from around the world. Visitors also enjoyed bouncy castles, Roman crafts, face painting and the outdoor play area at the Skylark Garden Centre.
