YOUNGSTERS at schools across Fenland enjoyed a fun-filled Friday last week as hundreds of pounds were raised for Comic Relief.
Toddlers and staff at Maple Grove Pre-School in March made a donation to wear red for the day and raised 131.17.
Doing something funny for money saw children and staff at Burrowmoor Primary School in March raise more than 500. Many arrived at school with crazy hair and the sale of red noses - provided by Sainsbury’s - also boosted the school’s donation.
Children at Clarkson Infant and Nursery School in Wisbech also paid to dress in red to help raise more than 300 on Red Nose Day. Staff at the school also organised a cake sale.
