A four day adventure was enjoyed by Brownies from March who enjoyed a fun packed trip away.
Youngsters from the 4th March and 2nd Doddington groups enjoyed an adventure holiday at The Jarman Centre near Newmarket, which is the residential centre for Girlguiding Cambridgeshire East.
Doddington Brownie Leader Becki Fisher said: βIt was great seeing the girls have so much fun with their friends, learn new skills and work together as part of a team.β
The theme for the holiday was Winnie the Pooh. Activities included a Winnie the Pooh game in the woods, finding a new key, semaphore messaging to warn of heffalumps in the woods as well as tree identification.
The girls all aged seven to 10 worked in small groups to help prepare meals and do other household jobs as well as enjoying time in the sensory garden, going on a night hike around the centre, fire lighting and other woodcraft skills.
