I JUST want to put across my disgust at both Kingsfield Primary School and Acorn Nursery being closed for the forthcoming election.
Councils are meant to support education not hinder it. Parents are not allowed to take their children out of school but it is OK for the school and councillors to close them any time.
I can understand the school closing because of the safety of the children but whose bright idea was it to hold it at the school in the first place.
Surely they could use the library building or the King Edward Centre even though they may not be in the correct ward. The councillors are all for saving the King Edward Centre but when a great opportunity to use it comes along they would rather see the school close.
