Sweetcorn fans gathered at Skylark Maize Maze near March for the annual Sweetcorn Eating Championships held on Bank Holiday Monday.
Skylark owner Edward Gowler said: “The weather was ideal and we had a record number of visitors to the Maize Maze to get lost in the field of corn and watch the sweetcorn eating competition.
“All twenty contestants did very well to eat as much as they did, it was a close call for both the children’s and adults’ final but we found our winners!”
The winner was Ian Spelman from Long Sutton who ate six corn on the cobs in three minutes to take the trophy and £100 cash prize.
The winner of the children’s category was Leah Roper from Haddenham.
