The Tesco Extra store in Cromwell Road, Wisbech, held a weekend of activities to raise funds ahead of the Race 4 Life event.

Staff took it in turns to bike ride, sell raffle tickets with a prize of a pink hamper, hold a tombola and staff around the store dressed in pink clothing.

Community champion Mallissa Russell said: “To raise so much in just one weekend is brilliant and we are very grateful to our customers for being so supportive.”

The next fund raising event is on the weekend of May 13 and 14 when there will be a medieval group in store, staff will be in stocks and there will be a variety of fun events.
