SIXTY youngsters had the chance to get in touch with nature when their school organised two days of visits to a nature reserve. Pupils from Park Lane School, Whittlesey, visited King's Dyke Nature Reserve as part of Peterborough Green Festival. One of the highlights was the chance to handle snakes and lizards.
The pupils, some accompanied by parents, also took part in pond dipping, bird watching in the hides, orienteering and fossil hunting.
