A PEACE vigil will be held at Wisbech's Clarkson Memorial on Sunday, September 24 (8-8.30pm).

Members of Wisbech Interfaith Group are so concerned at the violence in Iraq and Afghanistan that they wish to offer people an opportunity to take part in an act of silent witness.

The group is also mindful of the very fragile peace presently operating in the Lebanon and is anxious to see steps taken to put a permanent peace in place.

The Interfaith Group is charged by Church Together in Wisbech with exploring ways of building good relations between the various Christian churches in the area and people of other faiths.
