Youngsters from Whittlesey used torches, shadows, colours and sounds as they delved into the world of fiction during a visit from a top storyteller.

Cambridge-based tale teller Marion Leeper visited the Learning Centre at Whittlesey Library and told stories in the ‘Dark Tent’ – an environment aimed to enhance the experience of storytelling – using light and shadow.

She will return to Fenland on Tuesday August 23 at Wisbech library between 10am and 3.30pm.

The Lion Learners Animal and Story event will also be held at Whittlesey library on Thursday August 18 between 1-2pm.
