Firefighters are investigating the cause of an overnight blaze at a building in Bridge Street, Chatteris.
At 1.08am on Thursday (17) crews from Chatteris, Manea, March and Huntingdon were called to the fire.
A Cambs Fire spokesman said: “Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire in an empty single storey building. The fire was spreading quickly to other nearby buildings.
“Wearing breathing apparatus, crews entered the building to tackle the fire from the inside using hose reels, while crews used a covering jet to extinguish it from the outside.”
Crews returned to their stations by 5.45am.
A fire investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
