IN 1937 I worked for Lou Norman at Yew Tree House, Doddington, a coach house where they built coaches.
There was a ghost there then. I wonder if it is still there.
I remember working in the stables and hearing someone come in to the stable next to the one I was working in. After a while I would look into the next stable. I never saw anyone.
Once Lou told me to go up to the loft over the stables to look for some guttering. I did not like that. My hair stood straight up. I felt someone was with me.
I was not the only one to have that feeling. Frank Fisher and Roy Fovargue had it too.
I wonder if the ghost is still wandering around the new houses now.
