LEVERINGTON Scout patrol leader Michael Haddon was one of two Wisbech District Scouts picked to represent the Association at the World Jamboree in Canada in 1955.
Before setting off for Canada he was presented with his Scout Cord for proficiency at the Leverington scout headquarters.
In the picture, District Commissioner Harry Means can be seen making the presentation and adjusting the cord on Michael's uniform.
He is being watched by scoutmaster Bernard Gibbs (extreme left) and assistant scoutmaster Eric Page.
