Jamie Oliver campaign inspires March students to bake cakes

NEALE-WADE Community College students proudly display the cakes they baked as part of a six week cookery course.

The course was inspired by Jamie Oliver’s “Pass it on” campaign where people are encouraged to learn cookery skills and pass on their knowledge to others.

Zoe Clarke, Neale Wade’s catering coordinator, said: “The course teaches the students new skills which they take with them.

“One of the students has already made another two cakes for friends.”
