Manea firefighters were called to a JCB on fire early this morning.
The blaze happened on the roadside of the B1098 at the junction with the B1093 near Manea at around 6am.
The machinery was well alight and two firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reels to hose reels to extinguish the fire.
Crews returned to their stations by 7.05am.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
