THE wedding of John Benstead and Patricia Thorpe-Veal took place at Gorefield Church.
The bridegroom is the only son of David and Ella Benstead of Elm Low Road, Wisbech. The bride is the youngest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Edward Thorpe.
The bridegroom is the proprietor of Johnson’s Garage and Wedding Car Hire and the bride is employed as and Income Assistant for Roddons Housing Association.
Lesley Thorpe (bride’s sister) and Jenny Kierman (bride’s friend) were bridesmaids. Best man was Brian Means (bridegroom’s friend).
A reception was held at Outwell Village Playing Field. The couple spent their honeymoon at the Cape Verde Islands.
