MEMBERS of the Methodist Church joined with those of St James, Marshland for their morning service on Sunday, conducted by Sue Dack.
The young people were taught a new chorus. Lessons were read by Veronica Nelson and Jean Brandle and a solo was sung by Graham Beeken accompanied on the organ by Pauline Beeken who also led the prayers of intercession. The sermon was preached by Graham Beeken.
The singing was led by the St James Music Group, namely Pauline Beeken, organ, Joan Thompson, piano, Roger Dack, guitar, and Mr Graham Beeken, euphonium.
Steward was Joan Cousins and coffee and biscuits were served afterwards by Helen Wilson, Veronica Nelson, Elaine Knight and Joan Cousins.
