JOSH Goodman is somewhat of a star at Chatteris' Glebelands School after making a TV appearance on Sunday morning childrens' program, 'CBBC Smile'.Eight-year-old Josh, of Wenny Estate, Chatteris, appeared with Joan Gallagher, 72, of Cocketts Road, Walsoken, in a section of the show called 'My Gran Can', despite the pair not being related.Josh first met Joan, known to him as 'Auntie Joan', at a dog show where she was showing whippets.Josh's mum, Becky Cooper, said: "Josh owns a lurcher-whippet cross, and Joan has been showing Josh's dog at shows."Josh sent a letter to Smile, saying that Joan is to run the London Marathon in April for Age Concern, and that she should be on the television due to her age and fitness.The show featured Joan, who ran on a treadmill for an hour and a half, the duration of the show, before Josh presented her with a trophy at the end.Josh was also shown behind the scenes, given a goody bag, received autographs from presenters and went sight-seeing around London, with Joan and his mum.
