Judges from Anglia in Bloom began their tour of the district this week.

They were checking out the glorious floral displays in public spaces in towns and villages around Fenland for the annual competition.

March was the first town to come under the watchful eye of judges followed by a tour around Chatteris.

Next week Waterlees in Wisbech and Benwick village kick off the week’s tour.

then it is the turn of Wisbech and Whittlesey to be scrutinised for their blooms.

Britain in Bloom judges visit Wisbech on July 30.

he awards ceremony will take place on September 9.
