A Westwood School pupil has bagged £300 for her school after winning an art competition.

Eight year-old Karyn Godley won £300 for the school plus a £25 Tesco gift card for herself after winning a competition to promote Tesco’s Click + Collect unit online shopping service at the Hostmoor store.

Karyn’s entry was selected by judges for its colour, impact, sense of fun and style.

Her artwork will be printed on 250 re-usable shopping bags, which will be distributed free to parents and children at Westwood.
