KAYCEE Bates was given just 48 hours to live after she was born nine weeks early – but earlier this year she celebrated her third birthday.
Mum Donna Bates is now planning a 10-mile sponsored walk for the three hospital units that saved Kaycee’s life.
Donna, from March, said: “The hospital staff were just amazing. I’m not very good with words so I’m doing this to say thank you.
“We want to raise as much as possible and I’m hoping to get Kaycee to hand the money over because some of the staff haven’t seen her since she was in hospital.”
