KERRY Bryant’s robot made from recycled materials will be used to promote the Fenland Scrapstore after she won a poster competition.
Kerry, 17, of Witchford, said of her design: “To me, Fenland Scrapstore shows how recycling can benefit the community and help people.
“The idea of having a robot made of recycled materials shows how recycling can make new and useful things. The little boy represents the community and how recycling can really help people.”
Susie Moore, administrator for FACET’s Fenland Scrapstore, said: “Kerry’s entry stood out from the rest, being both innovative and original in its design.
“We loved the idea of a robot assembled from the many weird and wonderful items you can find at the Scrapstore. We are looking forward to using the design in Scrapstore publications.”
