A knife was found by officers in West End Park and disposed of at the police station.
The discovery was made by PSCO’s in a “cultivated area” of the park while they were carrying out anti-social behaviour patrols yesterday (July 2).
A post by Policing March on Facebook read: “Whilst conducting ASB patrols in March Town, PCSOs were made aware of a knife that had been found lying beside a cultivated area in West End Park.
“The knife was taken to the Police Station and has been disposed.”
It comes as police have also received reports of motor cycles riding through the park, which they say CCTV operators will be monitoring.
