Details of the incident, which happened on Saturday afternoon, were only released by Cambs Police today.
A 22 year old man appeared at court today charged with grievous bodily harm, possessing a knife and drug offences, following the alleged attack.
A police helicopter was scrambled to Dagless Way/ Swanton Close in March after reports of the two officers being allegedly injured.
Michele Teorzaghi, 22, of Dagless Way, March, appeared at Peterborough magistrates’ court to face nine charges in relation to the incident. The case was adjourned.
He is charged with criminal damage, two charges of grievous bodily harm with intent, assault, false imprisonment, affray, possession of a bladed weapon, and possession of a class A drug and possession of a class B drug.
A police spokesman confirmed that a male and female police officer was injured and a female officer received hospital treatment.
