ORGANISERS of Holipstick, a new club for Fenland women, are delighted with the response to the club's launch.

About 60 women aged 25 and over went to the first meeting at Elme Hall Hotel, Wisbech, to find out more about the venture.

Founder-member Katherine Nightingale, who owns The Craft Shop, in March, said: "It was excellent and we were really pleased at the response.

"The feedback at the end of the evening was generally very positive and the ladies said they would love to come back."

The evening was hosted by Radio Cambridgeshire's Johnny Dee. There was a presentation by a life and image coach and a discussion with representatives of a cosmetic company.

The next meeting, a free event on February 27, again at Elme Hall, will be a "Hair, Skin and Soul Care Night".
