COOKERY, farming, photography and handicrafts were just some of the disciplines embraced by this year's Coates village show at Holy Trinity Church and Chapel.

The best in show award was again won by Phyllis Brown, who retained her title from last year.

Included in the competitions was a class for children, won by 10-year-old Zoe Dale, a pupil at the village school.

Proceeds are split between the Holy Trinity Church and the Chapel.
