Chairman Ann Coomber opened the meeting with the exhortation. Vice-chairman Alice Chappell welcomed new members and thanked members for their loyalty and support during the past year. Winner of the competition for a baby photo was Joan Smith.
A busy programme of events was agreed for 2007, including a meal out, competitions, games, suppers, speakers and fund-raising events. A tree will be entered in St Peter's Church Christmas tree festival this December.
Linda Wilkin (secretary) will be standard bearer on remembrance day, escorted by Michelle Knott (treasurer) and Joy Gravett (member). Janet Anderson (president) will lay the wreath.
After the draw refreshments were served by the president.
