I have just completed the Fenland Council questionnaire entitled “Your Choices” - reducing council costs.
I would like to know why there was no reference to the number of councillors and their remuneration.
Do we need so many councillors? Do they need to attend so many ‘civic functions’ and receive associated expenses, so many ‘official openings’ etc? As they say, every little helps!
