You will find the Byall Fen Drove Road leaving Manea is to be closed for six weeks from February 1 to rectify the road edge damage caused by the Mick George trucks transporting gravel from the Manea extraction site.
The county is paying £300,000 for the repair of the road and the residents will pay in increased journey times. The road was only repaired last year - Mick George should be sent the bill.
These roads were never built for eight wheeler trucks travelling at speed, what about imposing a weight limit on these minor roads, why should we all pay for Mick George’s profit?
