THE Friends of Leverington church toasted the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s baby George when members held their monthly planning meeting.
Mary and Jim Watt, chair and vice chair of the group, hosted the meeting where they enjoyed a glass of Pimms with scones, cream and strawberries to celebrate the safe arrival of baby George.
The next event run by the Friends will be the monthly market in Leverington church on Saturday August 3 where there will be a wide
variety of stalls, farm fresh produce, cakes, preserves, crafts, and more.
Pop in between 10 - 12 and pick up a bargain or if you would like a stall ring 01945 475097.
