The veteran grower of more than a decade planted her seeds in the spring and was amazed when they blossomed into huge garden decorations.
Her beloved plants are now taller than her house in Gimbert Square, March - and still growing.
And for those wondering what the secret is to the 79-year-old’s growing success, the recipe is simple: plenty of water and tender loving care.
The former farm and factory worker said: “Everyone comes round and says how beautiful they are.
“I have grown them for years. Friends have said I should try and show them off as much as I can.”
