A woman who works at Aldi in Chatteris braved the shave on Saturday to raise more than £525 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Linda Whybrow had her hair cut “very short” on a grade one by Nicole Goodger, who also works at the store.
Linda said: “Aldi has chosen the Teenage Cancer Trust as its charity of the year, and after reading about the teenagers they all said the hardest thing was to lose their own hair.
“It was very significant – I felt that the shave was something I could do for them.
“I wanted to help the charity because they do such a marvellous thing. I also did it because my daughter has lost her hair due to stress and other medical reasons so I could sympathise with what it’s like.”
